The Ultra Motor A2B's are finally here!
After a long wait, we have finally recieved our first shipment of A2B's: the coolest electric bicycle on the planet!
My face and hands are numb, normal for riding this time of year in Seattle, but WOW these things are a blast! It didn't take long, as I was riding on the paved Burke Gilman Bicycle Trail, ripping through yellow leaves and rain puddles, before I could almost feel the bike getting anxious to GO OFF ROAD ALREADY! With the body of a downhill mountain bike and the heart of a dirtbike, I was tearing across any uneven terrain I could throw at it. Approaching full sized curbs, I even got the feeling that it prefered to hit it them dead on! The suspension of the A2B is how I would imagine riding a pillow at 20mph would feel like! With hardly an audible noise to speak of, The A2B very quickly and smoothly gets up to speed and it only took light pedalling to accend the super steep Greenwood Test Hill. And the overall tall stance of the bike, along with the forward pedal placement, was almost relaxing, as contradictary a state as is possible from a bike that is this much fun to ride! Oh, and no drivers liscense required!
